Cheerleading

We are excited to begin our third season of PVYA Cheer.  We are looking forward to another fantastic season!  Join today and become a part of this unique experience offered by PVYA where girls have a chance to express their individual style.

A Cheerleader is a dreamer who never gives up.

PVYA CHEER teams

Travel Cheer Team

– The travel team consists of no more than 10 girls per squad.  The travel team has been selected for this spring. The travel team cheers for all home indoor football games for the Brunswick Roaders.  Games take place on Saturday or Sunday at the Frederick Sports Complex. Games begin at the end of March and go through the middle of June. 

In-House Cheer Team

– The In-house team consists of girls ages 5-10 and there is no try-out requirement.  Practices are held once a week at Valley Elementary.  The girls will learn chants, cheers, jumps, and motions.  At the end of the season, there will be a parent performance.  The girls will put on a show for the parents to demonstrate the cheers and technique they learned.  Season begins May 1^st and ends June 5^th.
