The Brunswick Swim Team is starting its fourth season this year! As part of the Frederick Summer Swim League (FSSL) we encourage informal, friendly team competition at the neighborhood pool level while providing our youth the opportunity to develop athletic skills, positive sportsmanship, and understanding of teamwork, and an appreciation for the relationship between effort and success in a wholesome and fair atmosphere.
The Brunswick Swim Team is run by many volunteers. In order to make it a fun and successful season, we require that each family volunteer at every meet during the season. Volunteer duties include but are not limited to timing, stroke and turn judging, ribbon writing, data entry during meets, meet set up and break down of tents, lane line installation, deck management and clerk of course (getting the kids to their events) on time.
There will be a sign up sheet at the practice before each meet. We appreciate all participation.
